Roseate Skimmer Dragonfly 000

Here is another view of yesterday's Roseate Skimmer Dragonfly that I almost titled as Purple Dragonfly. It was shot at the Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. My preferred tag words for this insect are currently: Roseate Skimmer, Orthemis ferruginea, Dragonfly, Roseate Skimmer Perched on a grass stem, Purple and blue dragonfly. That County Park is about half way between Lakeland and Winter Haven, Fl. It is also the richest and most diverse shooting location that I have found to date in central Florida.
